Billy Regalbuto hails from the garden spot of the
world, Brooklyn, USA. He comes to the Acchords
with a vast wealth of musical knowledge and
extraordinary vocal ability.
In 1961 Billy expanded his talents to include
mastering the trumpet, bass guitar and keyboard.
His capacity to apply sweet sound vocals that blend
in perfect harmony comes from his passion for
music and his exceptional knowledge of 50's 60's
and 70's musical arrangements.
In 1964, Billy toured at the World Fair in Corona,
NY as first tenor with the vocal group " The
Ethics" Billy's powerful vocals and impeccable
timing were a welcome addition to the group.
In December 1965, Uncle Sam called Billy to
report for duty in the U. S. Army. Billy's love of
music was superseded by his love of country and
Billy's singing aspirations were put on hold.
In May 1966 Billy began a tour of duty in Viet
Nam. Billy's love of music never wavered as the
horrors of war engulfed his daily existence. On the
contrary, Billy formed an a'cappela group with his
army buddies and kept his goals alive during his
service obligation
Today, after 45 years in the business, Billy's
devotion to the greatest music of all time continues
as evidenced by numerous offers to employ his
talents. The Acchords are proud to have him as a
part of their organization
